"An enchantingly theatrical pop extravaganza"
Robert Sandal, Sunday Times

"The Irrepressibles are one of Britain's best-kept secrets ... a dramatic soundscape dripping with echoes of the Weimar Republic and la belle epoque ('Mirror Mirror') is the sucker punch the Irrepressibles have been keeping up their ruched sleeves."
Simon Price, Independent On Sunday

"The most impressive, the most fascinating performance of
the festival yet..."

Festival les Inrocks, La Cigale, Paris

"Theatrical and very different, a ripe, colourful riposte to
all that is Cowell."

Peter Kimpton, The Observer

"Incredible skyscraping vocals. Unabashed theatrically moving songs.
The Irrepressibles are a revelation."

Drowned in Sound

In October 2009 I began working with arts-music collective and chamber-pop performance orchestra The Irrepressibles as a live performer and member of the collective. I have since toured with them throughout Europe performing live at some incredible venues, as well as having the amazing opportunity to perform at two prestigious London venues; the Southbank Centre's Queen Elizabeth Hall and the Barbican Centre concert hall.

The Irrepressibles' live performances are a visual and aural spectacle, fusing original music with conceptual costumes, sets and lights, choreographed movement and sound design. Very much a crossover project, The Irrepressibles' take on popular music is to extend and augment its ability to communicate through allowing the influence of other art forms, such as fashion, film, stage design and dance.
